In the far-future, one of the new extreme sports is something called solar surfing. It's almost like a combination of snowboarding in the sky...with a sail that takes in the sun to give you more energy. It's pretty cool and you can really do some awesome stunts on it! There's just a couple of moves you might need to remember to get it down. Here's just a few.
Gybing: For of those good with math, you have to turn your solar surfer 180 degrees away from the sun. (Tacking is the opposite where you turn 180 degrees to the sun.) Remember to keep yourself and have control on the board.
Steering: This is just a move that gives you the advantage of moving on your solar surfer. It's a good idea to catch some rays of the sun to make it work.
Cygnus Spin: Oh! This one's my favorite. Only pros can do it though, so obviously it's going to take a lot of practice and not just anybody should be playing around with it. It's a mix between the moves the carve, the gybe, and even a 360 degree spin!
Carving: Another one that takes some practice but you'd be amazed. If you turn the board on it's edge, it actually kind of...carves through the etherium. Awesome!!
Balance: One of the main rules of doing all those moves on a solar surfer! Balance! A rule for the board is to try to keep your feet at the middle of it. Also remember to keep your own weight on the balls of your feet. Lastly, always remember to keep your knees just a bit bent.
Chop hopping: For a move like this, you have to make sure the winds are just right. Not even and you won't be able to do it, and too much will cause you fall faster than an astroid! This is just a solar surfer move to get some air under the board.
